
Objective:
This project focuses on building a cohesive branding system and series of deliverables for a poetry focused conference hosted by the Association of Writers and Writing Programs. 'The Feminine Verse' features several female authors of varying backgrounds and genres of poetry.

Solution:
Stemming from the idea of a space made specifically for women’s voices, the concept of ‘woman’s world’ was used to name the event The Feminine Verse. Honing in on this idea, the visual identity was focused on taking an abstracted version of a feminine universe complete with moon imagery, the female symbol, stars, and small dots that can be interpreted as planets. The waved shape seperating the pattern from the content acts as an abstract horizon line and helps keep the flow of materials organic and soft. The full set of deliverables included four event posters, a printed program, swag, promotional Instagram posts, and directional signage.
